Al Nassr extended their winning run in the Saudi Pro League, moving three points clear at the top after a 2-0 victory over defending champions Al Ittihad at King Abdullah Sports City.
Both teams entered the clash with three wins each, but Al Nassr maintained their perfect record thanks to goals from Sadio Mané and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mané opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a stunning volley, finishing off a clever dribble and cross from Kingsley Coman. The Senegalese forward struck powerfully from the right, giving Al Nassr an early lead.
Ronaldo scores in (35′)

Ronaldo doubled the advantage in the 35th minute, heading home after Mané sliced through the Al Ittihad defense with a precise chip pass. The Portuguese legend has now scored four goals this season one in the opener against Al Taawon and two against Al Riyadh taking his career tally to 946. The 1,000-goal milestone continues to draw closer.
Last season, Al Ittihad finished 13 points ahead of Al Nassr to claim the league title. But with Ronaldo, Mané, and Coman in fine form, Al Nassr look determined to rewrite the story this campaign.
