Reigning UEFA Champions League champions PSG started their title defense in spectacular fashion, crushing Italian side Atalanta 4-0 at the Parc des Princes. Luis Enrique’s team dominated from the kickoff, taking the lead just three minutes in when Bradley Barcola’s pass found captain Marquinhos, who expertly finished the move.
Although PSG missed several opportunities early on, Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubled the lead with a stunning goal in the 39th minute. The score could have been even higher in the first 10 minutes, as Nuno Mendez’s shot hit the post and Barcola’s penalty was superbly saved by Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi.

PSG extended their advantage early in the second half when Nuno Mendez scored a brilliant goal assisted by Barcola in the 51st minute. In added time (90+1), Gonzalo Ramos capitalized on a defensive error to net the fourth goal.
PSG vs Atalanta: Despite missing key players like Ousmane Dembele and Desiree Duo, PSG’s attacking display left Atalanta helpless and sent a strong message that the European champions are determined to retain their crown.
