The long-awaited Peaky Blinders movie finally has a release date. Titled The Immortal Man, the film is set to hit theaters in 2026, bringing with it a wave of surprises, returning legends, and fresh faces.
Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy reprises his iconic role as Tommy Shelby, joined once again by Stephen Graham, Sophie Randle, and Ned Dennehy. The film also welcomes new cast members, including Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Jay Lycargo, adding fresh energy to the beloved universe.

Since the series wrapped up in 2022, Murphy has been busy making waves in cinema, most notably winning an Academy Award for his performance in Oppenheimer. Yet, his return to Peaky Blinders is rooted in something deeper. Speaking to The Observer, Murphy said:
“We got a really good script. And I feel a sense of responsibility to the fans, because in many ways, they’re the ones who made this series a success. This film will be a perfect conclusion to that 36-hour television journey.”
The Immortal Man will carry the Shelby saga into the turbulent backdrop of World War II, offering not just a closing chapter but also a striking reimagining of its characters in a new and dangerous reality.
Creator and producer Steven Knight emphasized the importance of delivering a fitting finale:
“I really wanted to finish it. And of course, a big reason behind that is our fans. The way they’ve embraced the series is inspiring. The film will be released in cinemas, and I hope the fans will come together and experience it as a shared event.”
